Our school library is dedicated to providing our students with an educational environment that teaches students to be critical thinkers and ethical researchers while fostering a life-long love of reading. Students in grades PreK-5 visit the library weekly during a scheduled time slot, while students in grades 6-8 visit the library on an as need basis for research and learning purposes. Within this site, our school community is encouraged to visit our school library’s catalog to search for library materials, learn more about the librarian, read the librarian’s blog and book recommendations, view the library’s weekly schedule and upcoming events and use the provided educational and reading resources.
Parent volunteers are of an extreme importance to our school library and librarian as they assist in circulation, shelving, repairing books, and other small tasks. We ask our volunteers to commit to 1-2 times every other week for 2-3 hours a day. For more information on volunteering and or to view your volunteering schedule, please click on the Parent Volunteer tab. If you would like to volunteer within the library, please contact Mrs. Braet with your availability or fill out the online form here.
