Halloween Parties – One of my favorite St. Hugo traditions is that our eighth-grade students are willing to throw Halloween parties for the other students, instead of having a party of their own. The eighth-grade students did a magnificent job of planning and setting up a Halloween atmosphere for their fellow students. It was a great way to prepare for a fun evening for the entire school.
All Saints Day -The fourth-grade students did an outstanding job dressed up as their favorite saint for the All-Saints Day Mass this past Wednesday. Fr. Tim encouraged the students during his homily to live saintly lives. The next time you visit our main office, you can see information about Fr. Solanus Casey, who is in process of soon becoming a saint. Fr. Tim also asked that all prayers are ended at St. Hugo, by asking St. Hugo to pray for us. All-Saints Day is wonderful day for us to aspire to live a saintlier life.
Conferences/Book Fair – We are looking forward to meeting with parents at conferences this Wednesday and Thursday from 4:30-8:00. Please stop by the library and see the Book Fair during your visit. This is a great opportunity to get some early Christmas shopping done and to support our library. All money that is raised will go directly toward new books and materials for the library.
Booster Club – The St. Hugo Booster Club helps to make sure that our athletic teams have what they need to be successful. If you ever have any questions in regards to the Booster Club, here is the email address email@example.com.
Safety Patrols – Thank you to the six the -grade students and their teachers for our morning Safety Patrol. At the beginning of each day, you will see some of the sixth-grade students in their vests making sure the other students are safe. Thank you to Mrs. Matthews for ordering the vests through AAA, and to Mrs. Brandt and Mr. Dooley for their help training the students.

The Mission of St. Hugo of the Hills School is to provide students with an educational experience in which the teachings of the Catholic faith are instilled, nurtured, and demonstrated. These teachings constitute an integral part of the school’s academic program and the St. Hugo community. Strengthened by the values inherent in these teachings, students and staff are challenge to live with the conviction that, as followers of Jesus, it must be different with us.
