School Safety: Our continued thoughts and prayers go out to the students, families, and staff at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. We understand that this tragic event may have generated some concerns. On Wednesday, March 7, the entire school and parish staff will be going through ALICE training. The ALICE safety training course will be led by our school liaison officer, Chris Furlong. Also included as a link are some tips for parents on how to manage the stress associated with tragedies.
If you have any questions about St. Hugo School, please feel free to reach out to me. We are always looking for ways to improve our security practices, even with all the systems that we have in place. We are working in collaboration with area schools, and we will be implementing some effective ways to make our classrooms safer. You can be assured that the conversations will continue. Thank you for ways to improve our security practices, even with all the systems that we have in place. You can be assured that the conversations will continue. Auction: Earlier today I sent a letter about the upcoming auction. I would like to thank Mrs. Bujoll, and her committees for their work thus far. I hope to see all of you Saturday evening March 3, at Orchard Lake Country Club.
CYO: Congrats to the 4th-grade boys’ basketball team that finished the season undefeated! They are a good inspiration to our older teams that head into playoff games this weekend. Good luck to all the Viking basketball teams!
