Open House – The Open House takes place Sunday, January 21 from 11:00-2:00. Please feel free to invite any perspective families to come view the school. We have attached a video and flier to the Parent Bulletin that you are welcome to share with anyone that might be interested in an outstanding Catholic education. If you refer a family that registers you will receive a $100 credit. Thank you to Mr. Budiongan for his work with the video!

Tuition Angels – Fr. Tony has told me that he wants every student in the area to come to school at St. Hugo. We have updated our own policy for applying for Tuition Angels. There is a form in the Parent Bulletin for applying to Tuition Angels. We do not want any family to leave our community because of an unexpected financial concern. If you have a need please do hesitate to apply. Tuition Angel funding is limited. We rely on the generosity of our St. Hugo community.

Science Exchange – A reminder that the Science Exchange is Friday, January 26. We will have a Jeans Day this Friday, January 12 to help support this event. I can’t wait to see the innovative science projects!

Catholic Schools Week – In the next Parent Bulletin, we will send a complete guide to Catholic Schools Week. Here are a few of the items that we are planning. Monday, January 29 will be a red, white and blue dress day as we will have a Navy Seal come in and speak with the students about leadership. Tuesday, January 30 please plan to attend an All School Mass for our parents. Wednesday, January 31 is the Day of Service. Thursday, February 1 st Student Council attends Catholic Schools Week Liturgy at the Blessed Sacrament Cathedral. Friday, February 2 is the eighth-grade bazaar all day in the gym. It will be a fun week for the students!

Seventh and Eighth Grade Wing – Over the Christmas break the seventh and eighth-grade wing was painted and received new tile work surrounding the new lockers. Also, several ceiling tiles were replaced throughout the building. Our goal is to keep St. Hugo School in exemplary condition.

Thank You! – The last Parent Bulletin of 2017 we attempted to thank all that participated in our events and fundraisers. I apologize if we missed anyone. We are grateful to all of your support in 2017 and I am confident with your help it is going to be an amazing 2018 school year. I wish the entire school community a blessed 2018. A special thank you to Mr. & Mrs. Jamie Stewart for their generous donation to the faculty/staff Christmas party – you donation was enjoyed by all!
