IMPORTANT SAFETY REMINDER: When dropping your students off in the morning everyone should be going thru the carpool line! It is dangerous to have students walking through the parking lot even if accompanied by an adult.


NOVEMBER LUNCH ORDERING is now open on Orgsonline! The cut-off date to order November lunches is Monday, October 26. Instructions to open an Orgsonline account can be found on the school’s website.


SHOW YOUR ST. HUGO PRIDE and support our teams in their quest for championships! Thursday, October 15 the 7/8 girls soccer team takes on Shrine in a playoff game. Game time is 6:00pm at St. Hugo. Sunday, October 18 the football team plays at Catholic Central at 3:00pm in a semi-final playoff game. GO VIKINGS!

CONGRATULATIONS TO GRADE 3 AND GRADE 4! They are the winners of the Box Top for Education/Soup Label competition! Each grade will enjoy a pizza party prize on a date to be determined. Keep saving and sending in those box tops and soup labels. The next contest deadline date will be early spring 2016. Thank you for supporting our school.

LATCHKEY BILLS are distributed every two weeks. The third billing for the year is being sent home today. Please check your child’s backpack! The latchkey program includes daily outside play (weather permitting) so please be sure your child is prepared. Some children are hungrier than the one snack they are provided – please consider packing something extra.


ATTENTION ST. HUGO CYO COACHES! Criteria to coach at St. Hugo (applicable to assistant coaches as well!) includes completion of the Protecting God’s Children Workshop and a background check.  To find a Protecting God’s Children Workshop go to  Forms for background checks are available in the front office. PLEASE CONSIDER HELPING! St. Hugo students Ella Quaine and Cate Zidar, along with their moms, will be travelling to the Dominican Republic on a Mission Trip. They will spend a week helping in a medical clinic as well as spending time with local children. This area of the Dominican Republic is extremely poor and could use our help. Following are suggested items they would like to take with them (a box will be located outside the front office to collect your donations): scissors, erasers, pencils, crayons, 5-piece puzzles, colored pencils, pens, brown lunch bags, coloring books, small toys, snack size Ziploc baggies, baseballs, whistles, stop watches, basketball nets, ace bandages, cough syrup, Advil, and Tylenol.
