ALL GYM STUDENTS in grades 4-8 should bring a sweat shirt and sweat pants to put in their gym lockers.
SAVE THE DATE! St. Hugo’s annual Fun Run will be held on Saturday, September 23.
USED UNIFORM SALE will be held on Wednesday, June 7 from 8:00am-9:00am outside the front office. Please bring your clean, gently used uniform skirts, jumpers, sweaters and fleece jackets to the office on Tuesday, June 6 (no early drop offs). Proceeds from the sale of gently used uniforms will be donated to the Tuition Angels fund. We are not accepting gym uniforms, blouses, boy’s shirts (polo or button down) or boys pants.
FIELD DAY T-SHIRT DESIGN contest is underway. Designs are due Friday, May 5. Designs must be in black and white and on an 8 ½ x 11 sheet of paper. All designs must include “St. Hugo School”, and “2017”. Good luck!

First Communion – It was nice to see so many happy families at First Holy Communion this past Saturday and Sunday. Thank you to our second grade teachers Mrs. Davis, Mrs. Herman, Mrs. Carolin and to Mrs. Torok, Mrs. Venos and Mrs. Yugovich as they were very well prepared for this sacrament.
MSBOA – Congratulations to these students who performed during Easter/Spring Break at MSBOA’s Annual Spring Solo & Ensemble Festival in Lake Orion, MI: Ania Petrosky, Violin, Elijah Venos, Violin & Trumpet, Leo Delarosa, Alto Saxophone, Maximilian Petrosky, Trombone & Piano, Maria VanDieren, Flute & Piano.
St. Hugo Chess – Excellent job Dominic Kretschmer who won the chess championship for St. Hugo!
LAX – The St. Hugo lacrosse teams as they both won very close games this past Tuesday evening! The Varsity won 5-4 and the JV prevailed 7-6. The coaches were very proud that the team sang the school fight song on the way home. Great job Vikings!
7th/8th Grade Dodgeball – The dodgeball game was a blast on Friday night! The 7th and 8th grade students had several very competitive games. Most importantly $1,300 was raised for charity. Outstanding job to our middle school teachers and their students!
Fidgets – Fidget spinners seem to be very popular right now with all kids. They should not be at school unless you have a doctor’s note as they are becoming disruptive. Thank you for your help with this.
