Thursday, April 23:    A panel of experts on Mental Health Issues will be in the parish hall from 6:30-9:00 p.m. Stephanie Prechter, an advocate for mental health based with her personal journey w/bipolar disorder and the tragic passing/suicide of her dad, will be featured. Please contact Ann Bartoli as soon as possible.

 

REMINDER:  Parents, please don’t take students home with you unless you are authorized to do so. As an example, two boys whose ride was 5 minutes late, went with another family and we were not notified. Meanwhile the mom who was picking them up and the office personnel were frantically trying to find these boys!

 

HELP:             A fifth grade boy has lost a Chicago Bears hat that has very special meaning to him. Please check around and make sure your child didn’t accidently bring it home.

 

PHYSICAL EDUCATION:   Students in grades 4-6 should return their gym clothes that they took home for laundering before break. NOTE: Students in grades 4-8 should bring a sweatshirt/sweatpants to keep in their PI lockers for outdoor play this spring!

 

CUB SCOUTS REGISTRATION & CAMP OPPORTUNITY: Cub Scouts is a character development program for young boys in first through fifth grades. NOTE: Kinder boys entering first grade who are now six may register into Cub Scouts now. Our Cubs will be camping at D-Bar-A-Scout Ranch in Metamora, MI the first weekend of June. They will have the opportunity to explore the wilderness, learn valuable camping skills, compete in sporting events and try their hands at supervised activities such as archery and more. Dad or Mom (or Guardian) accompany their son for this memorable time. For more information and/or to register your son, contact Jeff Bruck by May 15 at 248-682-3855.

 

COMING SOON:       Grades 5 & 6 will be attending The Cross and the Light” Concert Experience on Thursday, April 16 at 10 a.m. and grades 7 & 8 will attend on Friday, April 17. Both productions are in St. Hugo church. Parents who wish to attend either these matinees or the evening performances can get tickets by calling 734-788-7073 or at CrossAndLight.com

Charity Dodgeball Tournament Fundraiser for South Sudan will be Friday evening, April 17 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the St. Hugo gym. Tickets are $5 in advance or at the door. Don’t miss this event; it’s tons of fun and great entertainment!
