- A big thank you to Hermann, Mrs. Thomas, and the book fair committee for their time organizing and running the Scholastic Book Fair. Their time spent was well worth it because all of the money raised will go towards many new books and supplies for the library. Our St. Hugo readers are very happy and appreciate the generous amount of time donated for this event. If you could not make it in or are looking for out of stock or additional titles, our online scholastic book fair will run until November 19. Please go to: http://bookfairs.scholastic.com/homepage/sthugo
- Thank you to the Kindt family and Glass and Mirror Craft out of Wixom. They donated new windows to both the Kindergarten Readiness, and Teacher’s Lounge rooms. If you have been on lunch duty, you would have noticed how beat up the previous windows looked. Now, the windows are brand new, and look wonderful!
- Thank you to Pacifico, Miss Calvaneso, and his band students as they had an awesome time performing to veterans in Cleveland this past Friday. Congratulations to our St. Hugo Band and Vocal Vikings on their Cleveland Veterans Day Performance at the Great Lakes Science Center this past Friday. Students honored our Veterans with a performance of God Bless America. Students also had a great time visiting the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Thanks to our chaperones and our trip coordinator, Holly Mustion.
- Thank you to Tony for the new awning outside the Fr. Esper room entrance. Fr. Tony is generous with his support of the school. It is really wonderful to be at school with such strong pastor support.
STEAM Day Science, technology, engineering, art, and math day is this Friday. Students will be spending their day doing activities as if they were scientists, engineers, artists, mathematicians and using technology to code. Thank you to Mrs. Mueller and her STEAM committee for all of their work for this special event. I believe we have many future St. Hugo students that will work in a science related occupation when they grow up!
