FUN RUN SHIRTS
will be sold at lunch time Monday through Thursday for $2 each. If they are worn on Friday, students will be entered in a special drawing!

for a donation of $2 per student. Money raised will be sent to Angels Place. Also, if you can spare some canned goods or paper supplies, we will help them replenish their pantries!
CANDY FOR SEMINARIANS
to pass out at their Halloween party for neighborhood children is being accepted until Oct. 28. We (and they) would be grateful if you pick up an extra bag when you are shopping!
this Friday, 10/17 through 8 a.m. Monday 10/20 in bins outside the maintenance garage. Computers, printers, other electronic equipment accepted! Thanks for helping us maintain being a ‘green’ school.
HIGH SCHOOL EVENING
is Thursday, Oct. 16 in the upper D classrooms and in the K-wing. Local Catholic High School reps will be here to tell 7th and 8th grade students and parents about their programs. You can choose to attend 3 twenty-minute sessions between 5:00–6:20, browse displays and talk to reps. At 6:30 Ann Bartoli will give a brief presentation on how to apply to high schools. See you Thursday evening!
HIGH SCHOOL TUTORS
will be available to tutor students in grades 3–8 beginning on Thursday, Nov. 6 from 3:30–4:30 p.m. A nominal fee of $5 will be charged. Please contact Ann Bartoli at 248-283-2153 if interested in attending
VARSITY VOLLEYBALL TEAM
just finished an undefeated season and are in the playoffs. The first game is this Saturday morning here at St. Hugo School. Come and support our girls!

is almost sold out, so get your forms in a.s.a.p! A few spots remain for the pre-party (Extra forms available in the office.). Don’t miss out on this family fun event!

Because of the great participation in this year’s FUN RUN, the Tuesday before Thanksgiving will be a half-day! Thank you all for making this happen!
A reminder about not leaving valuables in unlocked cars! The police are zeroing in on a suspect who apparently drives borrowed or loaner cars, so the license plate doesn’t help. If you see a middle-age man (looks somewhat like George Costanza on Seinfeld!) in the parking lot, call the police immediately! They need to catch him w/the goods in his car.
