Our pastor, Msgr. Anthony Tocco, and his associates are most supportive of the school. They are available for school liturgies and reconciliation services regularly, and for classroom visits and instruction upon request.

I am excited that my first priestly assignment is here with you at St. Hugo’s.  I appreciate all of the greetings and kind words I received from everybody I have met so far.  I look forward to the opportunity to get to know you, to work with you, and learn from you.  I ask you for your prayers over these next few years, and please know that I am praying for you.  Fr. Tim Wezner, Associate Pastor.

Parents of St. Hugo students believe in the Catholic school system and are proud to send their children to St. Hugo School. Most parents, products of Catholic schools themselves, and some from St. Hugo School, want a Catholic School education for their children. St. Hugo parents believe that such an education is the best preparation for their children’s continuing education.

St. Hugo of the Hills School is a Roman Catholic, faith-filled academic community dedicated to the development of knowledge, compassion, and acts of service.

St. Hugo of the Hills Elementary School is a Pre-K-8 elementary school with a student body of approximately 475. We are located on 30 scenic acres in the city of Bloomfield Hills Michigan. The camps includes: St. Hugo of the Hills Church, Stone chapel, school grounds and athletic facilities.

Our mission statement reflects all that our school values and strives to achieve. Centered on our faith, we learn about God’s world and all that we can do to make it an even better place. While academics are our core, we see our mission as serving the individual students and their God-given gifts and talents. The school exudes an environment of academic excellence giving each student the opportunity to develop as a whole person: spiritually, socially, physically, emotionally, and intellectually in order to meet the challenges of the future. Toward this goal, we provide specialists in art, music, technology, physical education, Spanish, library, enrichment and remedial education.  Our classroom teachers are fully certified but-even more- they are chosen for their vision in guiding academic, social, and spiritual growth.  We strive every day to reach every child and provide them with a well-rounded co-educational experience.

Beyond our school, we offer our students opportunities to serve others through service education.
